My feedback was to look at more well known artists for my work, this is fine for me because that fits into how I work anyhow. I have mainly looked at illustrators and unknown artists, but the way I work is that when I start a new character project I look into both the ways other artists have presented that characters along with well known traditional artists to enforce a style to my work.
For what I'm working on at the moment, Edward Hopper's been an influence into what I plan to produce, for future projects it'll likely be other artists such as what I've mentioned prior (Carravagio, The Kitchen Sink Movement, Fabian Perez)
Targets:
Look into more well known artists like Francis Bacon, David Hockney and Van Gogh.
I will achieve this as I work along through my projects for contextual research. I like to look at the paint quality and impressionist styles
